Spreading the word..

Hi My Beauties,

It's been an interesting day today.. I have took it upon myself to send out a few emails to some magazine companies and newspapers telling them the difficulties of being a plus sized, young girl and that its time to start focusing on the younger generations and start including articles based on plus sized girls.

I'm sure i'll probably get some ridiculous responses to say that it is unlikely to happen. At least I tried.

The more involved I am getting into this the stronger I feel about it.

When I was growing up I hated going shopping because I always knew I would be coming home with nothing but with a depressed feeling as nothing would ever fit.

No one should have to go through that, especially growing up. As teenage girls, you shouldn't feel limited or embarrassed. You should be happy & confident about yourself.

Well anyways... I will keep you updated - should I receive any responses.

 I was feeling in a rather relaxed mood today due to the weather not being so nice. I have opted with an oversized blue checked shirt teamed with plain black leggings. I kept my make up simple using Natural collection golden glow bronzer and liquid eyeliner for my eyes.

One of my ultimate must haves at the moment is this nail varnish called 'Show off' by Collection 2000 found in all Superdrugs around the UK at £1.99 - it goes so well with this outfit & definitely stands out.

So let me explain my reasons for starting up this blog.

I feel the UK does not have enough shop/online website that cater for plus sized girls! 

I feel the UK wants to hide all the curvy girls behind closed doors. We need to be more like the US and embrace what we have & be able to love our bodies.

Its now time to make a change. Therefore, I am going to write to as many clothing companies, newspapers/magazines possible to voice my opinion.

I am a 22 year old girl and want to represent all the young, beautiful curvylicious girls out there!!

We may not be slim and slender as some of us would like to be but that shouldn't stop us from feeling great in our own bodies.

We should be allowed to experiment with fashion just as much as a girl who is a size 10!

Just because we are plus sized girls, it doesn't mean we have to dress frumpy! We should embrace what we have and look FABULOUS!

I will do as much as I can to help you girls with clothing ideas, accessories, make up, nails & hair ideas.
